According to a BusinessWire press release dated February 7, 2022, anyone who reserved a ticket by February 14 to see The Batman at an AMC theater by March 6 and had their ticket scanned at the theater was eligible to receive a “limited edition” NFT.
Moviegoers must have booked the ticket on the AMC website or through the AMC mobile app. NFT codes and redemption instructions “will be delivered by AMC via email on March 8 to the email address used during the ticket transaction,” the statement read.
The studio that coined NFTs was Palm NFT Studio. Palm lives on the Ethereum blockchain. It advertises itself as more energy efficient than its rivals.

Be Worth NFT prices are difficult to predict and/or pinpoint, and AMC The Batman tokens are no exception.
AMC has not yet revealed how many NFTs there are. However, given that there are currently 10,833 (give or take) AMC screens running, and The Batman had a great first week, there are probably quite a few.
This makes scarcity difficult to measure, and scarcity is one of the determinants of the value of an NFT.
One recipient, posting on the Reddit forum r/AMCsAList, asked, “What do I do with the Batman NFT they gave me?”
The answer, as several commenters have pointed out, may not be as exciting as what the OP might do if he were in possession of, say, a Bored Ape NFT.
One wrote: “It is worth nothing because there is no shortage of it, and it is not a real thing with value.” Its value, in other words, depends entirely on what other people are willing to pay for it.
What is the estimated price of an AMC The Batman NFT?
One Reddit user, commenting on the subreddit linked above, wrote that they sold their Spider-Man NWH NFT “for around $90.”
But, as another points out, Spider-Man NFT was a GIF, which they argue is “at least a little more interesting than this.” Batman NFTs are static banners.
Several AMC The Batman NFTs have already appeared on eBay: the cheapest is currently priced at $129.99 (Buy It Now), while the most expensive is $5,600. However, these are only sales prices. Whether or not they sell depends on demand.
NFTs marked “common” and “rare” will likely have different values, depending on their scarcity.
